It is our goal at the Monroe-West Monroe Convention & Visitors Bureau to make your meeting, convention or event a success. We offer a number of services to assist you in the planning and implementation of your function.
Our convention sales department will offer hands on guidance to make the planning experience a great one.
Formal Bid Invitation:
A sales representative will deliver a presentation to those who select event sites and tell why they should choose Monroe-West Monroe as a host site.
Hotel Leads Service:
A sales representative will send event needs such as meeting space, room requirements, meal functions, etc. to local hotels so they can respond with a proposal on availability, approximate cost, and amenities.
A sales representative will handle all arrangements for the decision maker to experience first hand our city hotels, meeting facilities, event venues and attractions.
Give your attendees a head start before coming to the Twin Cities with an in-house designed email blast or post card.
We will exhibit at your convention the year prior to your event being held in Monroe-West Monroe.
Our communications department will send out a press release to the appropriate media contacts and offer suggestions for coverage of your event.
The bureau will provide typed name badges for attendees customized with your logo on them provided names are given one week in advance.
Each attendee will receive a Twin City ditty bag that will include a Visitors Guide with a map and a bookmark.
You will have a knowledgeable local citizen to help with any questions your attendees may have from finding a pharmacy to where one can find local cuisine. At the Welcome Booth, your attendees will learn what to see, where to eat and what to do in their free time.
At the start of your meeting or event, a representative of the Convention & Visitors Bureau will be on-hand to assist in checking in your attendees.
