Tadpole Adventures at Black Bayou 06/2/2016 Join Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge as they learn more about frogs and do a froggy craft. This event is free for 3- 5 year olds and their parents.
Downtown Gallery Crawl 06/2/2016 Presented by the Downtown Arts Alliance, eleven art galleries in downtown Monroe and West Monroe are open all evening for the public to enjoy great art, food, drink and music. Original art is for sale, tax free. Admission is free.

10:30 am - Krewe of Janus Children's Mardi Gras Parade
Complete with beads and floats and Mardi Gras fun at Pecanland Mall's Center Court. Registration begins at 9:30 am and the first 100 participants receive a goody bag!
1:30 pm - 10th Annual Krewe of Paws Mardi Gras Pet Parade See a twist on the traditional Mardi Gras festivities with pets of all sorts in costumes and floats, and of course plenty of beads along their parade route in Antique Alley! 3:30 pm - Jester Jog 5K Let the good times...RUN with this fun 5k in downtown West Monroe. This race will benefit Paws of Northeast Louisiana. Click here to register.
6 pm - Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade: Jean Lafitte Treasures Join us for Mardi Gras fun in Downtown West Monroe and Monroe as lighted floats and marching bands parade through the Twin Cities.
