In this dramatic telling, all of the enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be "a true friend and a good writer." Exploring the true meaning of the word “friend,” this evening of enchantment will leave you with a little lump in your throat and a smile on your face.

Complete with beads and floats and Mardi Gras fun at Pecanland Mall's Center Court. Registration begins at 9:00 am and the first 100 participants receive a goody bag!
 
1:30 pm - 11th Annual Krewe of Paws Mardi Gras Pet Parade
See a twist on the traditional Mardi Gras festivities with pets of all sorts in costumes and floats, and of course plenty of beads along their parade route in Antique Alley! If you are interested in entering your pet, please see the registration information on our Calendar of Events Listing Page.

5:00 pm - Downtown River Jam Mardi Gras Party

Jim Taylor Auto Group presents Downtown River Jam featuring Nathan and the Zydeco Cha-Chas live on the Skent-N-Dent stage in the Old Coca-Cola Building! Enjoy music, food, a full bar, free beer samplings by Choice Brands, and MORE while you wait for the parade! Enjoy a front row seat on Walnut for the parade without camping all day.
