To celebrate National Tourism Week May 12-18, the Monroe-West Monroe Convention & Visitors Bureau hosted its 2nd Annual Photography Contest. The focus of the contest was on all of the features that make Monroe-West Monroe attractive to tourists. The photos will be used promote area attractions to place in national advertisements.
This year's theme was Twin City Traditions & People Enjoying Them: Feature people enjoying the many attractions Monroe-West Monroe has to offer. For example, show people shopping at Antique Alley, visiting Louisiana Purchase and Gardens Zoo, or strolling through Biedenharn Gardens. From sports activities to people eating, the opportunities are endless. Bring daily life to the spotlight, as you showcase people doing what they enjoy in Monroe-West Monroe.
