Latin Food—1102 Thomas Rd., West Monroe, LA
With extravagant Honduran meals and a small storefront with hole-in-the-wall appeal, you might not look at this place and think, “I’m going to order coffee.” Change that. Their Cuban coffee is a local favorite. Lightly sweetened, piping hot, and topped with foam, this coffee is served alongside traditional Honduran meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can also order a traditional espresso, sweetened or dry.

Their hot coffee is located in the store where you can make it yourself exactly how you like. Their cold coffee drinks are made to order, and they can be ordered through a specialized kiosk located separately from their regular order kiosks. This also lets you customize your coffee to make sure that you get exactly what you want. They also have a great breakfast selection until 10:30a.m., lunch, dinner (at some locations), and frozen yogurt. Since it’s also a gas station, you can fill up on gas or grab snacks for later, making this the perfect one-stop shop.
