In May 2021, QuesTECH Learning initiated a NELA campaign of kindness. Kindness in the Park 2023, designed for elementary through high students and their families, is scheduled for Saturday, May 6. It begins with a Family Fun Run at 9:00 A.M. and lasts until 2:00 P.M.

This year’s event features DJ Sonder, Rated E’s bike ride, a dunking booth, a hot air balloon, Delta Human Services Authority’s obstacle course, a Corn Hole Tournament, musical entertainment, and a petting zoo. It also includes activities from the Krewe de Riviere, Girl Scouts, Children’s Museum, 4H, and Monroe City Fire Department. Baby goats, llamas, jumpers, numerous games, cotton candy, and #kindnessNOW washable tattoos will all make Kindness in the Park 2023 a family fun day!
