Mushroom season is here and they have taken over the Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge! Join an interpreter and two local members of the Louisiana Master Naturalists - Northeast for a 4-mile hike along Edgewater Trail and the photo blind pond. See the wide variety of mushrooms that are growing on the refuge.
Meet at the head of the Edgewater Trail in the boat ramp parking lot at 8:00 AM. Bring water and wear sturdy shoes. All ages are welcome, but this is not one of the stroller friendly trails.
