Poverty Point World Heritage Site

Enjoy a nature-based night hike at Poverty Point World Heritage Site on Saturday, March 23, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The program will consist of a discussing the various animal furs in the museum, followed by an owl prowl. The program will end with spider sniffing and animal related stories around the campfire while enjoying s’mores and hot chocolate or water. Please wear appropriate clothing, a limited number of flashlights will be available, but participants are welcome to bring their own. Comfortable shoes are needed for the hiking portion of the program.
