New Music on the Bayou’s mission is to produce professional performance of works by contemporary composers in order to give modern music a voice while inspiring local communities with fresh ideas about the performing arts. See these riveting and unique performances throughout Monroe and Ruston and meet composers from around the world and hear their music performed by an incredible lineup of musicians. Check out performances at the Biedenharn Recital Hall—June 4 at 7PM, Flying Tiger Brewery—June 4 at 9PM, and Black Bayou—June 6 at 11AM.

As a kickoff to July 4th, this Walk Through America will bring history to life through Anna Gray Noe Park with interactive scenes, historical characters, and patriotic experiences for all. Enjoy iconic moments in American history and enjoy hot dogs, snow cones, lemonade, face painting, and a striking display of 250 American flags throughout the park.
