Come From Away
September 3—6, 10—13
Thursdays-Saturdays 7PM; Sundays 2PM
Come From Away details the true story of when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland played host to the world on September 11, 2001. As 38 planes from all around the world are diverted to Gander due to an international emergency, the tiny island and its inhabitants made a home for thousands of scared passengers. Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the strangers with music, an open bar, and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family. This is a heartwarming story of fear, hope, and everything in between that you won’t want to miss.
