Celebrate 318 Day in Monroe-West Monroe
March 18 or 3/18 is 318 Day. Since 318 is the area code for north and central Louisiana, it is the perfect way to celebrate the area we live and work in!
Check out ways to celebrate #318Day below
1. Join Discover Monroe-West Monroe's Audio booth! Stop by Seventh Square on March 5 from 10:00–11:30 AM or Standard Coffee Co. on March 6 from 10:00-11:30 AM to record your message to Ouachita Parish. Share what you love about Monroe-West Monroe, your favorite attractions, special memories, or why this community means so much to you. We’ll compile the recordings into a special video release on March 18 and you might just hear your voice featured!
2. Show off your artistic side with Discover Monroe-West Monroe's Coloring Sheets! Individuals can pick up the #318Day coloring sheet at the visitors center or they can download it here. Individuals can bring their finished sheet from March 18-20 to receive a small prize.
3. Be the 1 Photo Op! Large "3" and "8" wooden numbers will be on display in Monroe at Palace Park and in West Monroe at Alley Park. Stop by and be the "1" in the "318." Bonus: food trucks will be at Alley Park on 318 Day!
4. Support local with 318 Day Specials! We have partnered with local businesses in Monroe-West Monroe to offer discounts or 318 Day Specials! Check out our list of participating attractions, restaurants, and shops and help us celebrate all the great things about living in the 318.
