Explore the Northeast Louisiana Music Trail in Ouachita Parish
The Northeast Louisiana Music Trail, founded by Enoch’s Pub and Café, honors musical legends that have performed throughout northeast Louisiana and hometowns of artists that shaped them into who they are today when they take the stage to perform.
Enoch Doyle Jeter, who is locally known as “Doyle," is the director of the Northeast Louisiana Music Trail that honors musicians on a smaller scale. In a little over four years, the music trail has evolved into 28 markers that are set in 12 parishes. Organizers of the music trail unveiled its first marker in January 2022. Doyle wanted to make people aware of the musical talent throughout the region and get people to recognize that musicians are artists.
Every marker has an event that surrounds the featured artist. It ranges between concerts, lectures, small events, large events and invitation only events.
On the next road trip to Monroe-West Monroe, visitors can place these ten Ouachita Parish markers on their itineraries to visit sites where musical artists from the past and present performed.
