Chennault Aviation Museum
Take the day off and soar into history at the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum. Here you can learn about the birth of Delta Airlines, the Flying Tigers squadron, and discover the history of many military heroes from Northeast Louisiana. Step outside to view the Aviation Park, showcasing restored military aircraft and their history.
Flying Heart Brewing and Pub
Join Flying Heart for their Freedom Fest & Anniversary Party on July 1st, featuring live music from Cowboys with Guitars and Dash Rip Rock. This is a VIP table only event. The tables will be $100 and include four wristbands and four beer tokens. The brewery will be serving food and drinks until the fireworks. Try their house special, the Daywrecker beer alongside the Daywrecker Pizza complete with 3 kinds of meat and beer cheese.
Farmers Market

Or head over to downtown Monroe for the 3rd annual block party in honor of Independence Day, with live music, food, and fun!
Fireworks
No Independence Day Celebration is complete without an outstanding fireworks display. Settle in by the Ouachita River, Downtown Monroe or Downtown West Monroe to see the Twin Cities Firework Celebration on July 1st. Fireworks start at 9:00 and you won’t want to miss this excitement!
