It’s time to put on your boogie shoes and let loose! You can find live music around just about every corner in Monroe-West Monroe! Ouachita Live Concerts run the last Friday of each month in Alley Park. Enjoy live music, food trucks, and spirits. The concerts are free! Yep, you read that right.
Did you know Ouachita Parish is home to two vineyards? And did you know both vineyards offer live music? It doesn’t get much better than that! Landry Vineyards hosts concerts throughout the spring season. Hear live music by local bands, sip on delicious wine, and eat from local food trucks. Head to ThirstyFarmer for Wineaux Ramble on Saturday afternoons and make sure to try one of their delicious flatbreads!
The spring temperatures make it the perfect time to explore your outdoorsy side! Grab your kayak or rent one from H2GO Paddle and explore our natural waterways. Black Bayou National Wildlife Refuge, Bayou Desiard, and the Ouachita River all have loading docks making it easy to get on the water.
Kiroli Park and the Biedenharn Museum and Gardens are in full bloom in the spring. Bring your camera and get ready to see some of the prettiest tulips around. Your furry friends are even welcomed to see the flowers at Dogs in the Garden or in the dog park at Kiroli Park!
Take me out to the ballgame! The University of Louisiana at Monroe is set for a competitive spring sports season. Head to The Lou to watch as the ULM Baseball team battles it out in the Sun Belt Conference or swing by the ULM Softball Complex for some exciting softball competition.
