Inside Evil Visions: Monroe’s Scariest Haunted Attraction
When visitors to Monroe-West Monroe are looking for a frightening adventure for the Halloween season, they can go search for Evil Visions Haunted House in Monroe, northeast Louisiana’s premiere haunted attraction!
For the first seven years, Evil Visions Haunted House was located on DeSiard Street in downtown Monroe. The haunted house later moved from downtown to Garrett Road, where the fog rolls out at night and plenty of open land adds to the thrill for curious guests.
Throughout the year and six days a week, owner Jeremy Lucky and his staff get the haunted house ready for locals and visitors for this one scary season.
It never stops. We're out here all year long.Jeremy Lucky
Jeremy has always been a big fan of horror. He’s worked at haunted houses since he was a young kid, and his love for horror led to becoming a professional haunter and opening a haunted house. It’s his way of giving back to the local community and tourists that come through the Twin Cities.
Evil Visions Haunted House is open every weekend in October—Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Fridays & Saturdays: 7 p.m. – midnight
Sundays: 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.
The haunted house also opens the first weekend of November for its popular blackout night, when all the lights are turned off and guests make their way through with only a glowstick.
After being in business for nine years, Evil Visions Haunted House continues to provide a safe and secure environment for those wanting to experience a spooky site before or on Halloween night. This attraction accepts all ages with parental discretion due to gory scenes and acts of violence, which Jeremy emphasizes are not real but suggests that parents and guardians monitor their children and the fun content.
Other than giving visitors an option to walk through the haunted house, they’re looking to expand. The haunted house has been sitting on Garrett Road for only two years.
There’s a lot more property on this side rather than when we were in downtown Monroe, which we loved but we ran out of room. We’ll be able to bring new experiences and new things to the haunt.Jeremy Lucky
The professional haunters are looking to set up multiple things on Garrett Road throughout the year. They’re planning to contract vendors and host several events, taking advantage of the extra space to create more activities and experiences beyond the haunted house itself.
More than a haunted house, Evil Visions has become a fall tradition—bringing together locals and visitors who share a love for the spooky and the spectacular.
