10:00 AM - Twin Cities Krewe de Riviere Children's & Pet Mardi Gras Parade
Twin Cities Krewe de Riviere is hosting a Children’s & Pet Parade around the Krewe's new den the morning of their parade as a way to send off their floats!! They will start the party on South Grand before they leave to line up in West Monroe. Start decorating your wagons and get your pet costumes! There might even be a special guest and prizes.

Parade rolls at 6:00 PM

10:00 AM - Krewe of Janus Children's Mardi Gras Parade
Light! Camera! Action! The cutest Mardi Gras parade is rolling at Pecanland Mall's Center Court. This free event kicks off the day's celebrations with the cutest mini-Mardi Gras floats and even cuter riders. The theme is Janus Goes to Hollywood, and the Krewe of Janus' king and queen will join the party! Complete with beads, candy, and other throws. Registration begins at 9:00 AM, line up is at 9:30 AM, and the first 100 participants receive a goody bag!

1:00 PM - Annual Krewe of Paws Mardi Gras Pet Parade
Experience the Hollywood magic of furry friends on the red carpet! Antique Alley in West Monroe will be filled with pets of all shapes and sizes ready to roll in this year's parade. All pets are welcomed, even those with feathers and scales! This event features food trucks, vendors, and music! Line up begins at 11:00 AM, and the parade will roll a 1:00 PM.

11:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Mardi Gras Festival
Head to Downtown West Monroe for a day full of food trucks, festivities, and live music by Four on the Floor! This Mardi party will get you ready for the big parade that night. Don your carnival best, and head to the new Alley Park for all the fun.

2:30 PM - Jester Jog 5K
Run a portion of the Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade route and back through downtown West Monroe in your Mardi Gras-themed outfits! The crowds will already be gathered for the parade, so many will cheer on our race participants as they run past. Finisher beads for everyone as well as age/gender metals! Enjoy King Cake after the race. Participants will gather in Alley Park located on the corner of Trenton and Natchitoches Street. The race begins at 2:30 PM.

6:00 PM - Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade
A storybook straight off the big screen will bring an end to a day full of Mardi Gras festivities. This parade is the big one! Floats, marching bands, beads, and Hollywood glitz and glamour all come together! The parade begins in West Monroe and ends at Oliver Road in Monroe.
