Skeletons on Tower
October 1st — October 31st
The Annual Skeletons on Tower is back and spookier than ever! This family friendly month-long event begins October 1st with a “Rib-bone Cutting” in the Pavilion Circle between CC’s and Newk’s. Drive down Tower Dr. to check out the skeletons decorated by businesses, families, and individuals throughout the month of October.
Indian Village Harvest Farm
Wednesdays & Thursdays 3PM - 6PM; Fridays & Saturdays 10AM - 6PM; Sundays 1PM - 6PM
Get ready for a picture perfect fall at Indian Village Harvest Farm. Hop on a trailer for a hayride or stroll through beautiful decorative pumpkins, haybales, and autumn flowers. Buy delicious apples from Scotts Orchard, local meats, jams and jellies, sourdough bread and more! Bring the whole family and take advantage of the free playground and petting zoo!
Evil Visions

Can you survive Evil Vision’s Manor of Madness? You’ve heard the stories. You’ve felt the fear. Now step inside and experience evil like never before. Evil Visions is open every Friday and Saturday from 7PM to Midnight and Sundays from 7PM to 11PM. Don’t miss your chance to discover what horrors lie within the walls of the Manor of Madness.

Scarecrows in the Garden
October 7th — October 11th
As the temperature drops, it’s time to bring out the scarecrows! The Biedenharn Museum & Gardens is holding the 7th Annual Scarecrows in the Garden. The festivities open with Opening Night on the 7th from 5PM to 8PM and closes on the 11th with the Biedenharn Garden Cinema’s showing of “The Wizard of Oz.” Stroll through the beautiful Elsong Gardens and support the local nonprofits in our area.
Touch-a-Truck Trick-or-Treat
October 18th, 10AM - 3PM
Big trucks, dump trucks, ambulances, police cars, tractors, bulldozers, and more! Families Helping Families presents “Touch-a-Truck” allowing climbing, vehicle touching, and noise making around construction, emergency, farm equipment, and commercial vehicles. Wear your Halloween costume and bring a basket because trick-or-treating comes early with this fun-filled event for kids of all ages.
Boo at the Zoo
October 25th, 10AM - 2PM
Trick or Treat at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo for a wild day of Halloween fun! There will be food vendors and shopping merchants and lots of candy. Take a boat ride through the lagoon or a ride on the train to get the best views of some of the animals. There will even be animal encounters for all to enjoy. Wear your best costume for a chance to win the costume contest.
Fall Family Fun Fest

Head to Kiroli Park for the Fall Family Fun Fest, your one-stop celebration of the season! Bring the whole family and experience free carnival games, tasty eats from your favorite food trucks, local vendors, costume contests for all ages, and free healthcare screenings to keep your family healthy.
Ouachita Paddle Trails: Spooky Paddle at Cheniere Lake

Spend a spooky evening on the water with the Ouachita Paddling Trails! Explore the lake at dusk, soak in the eerie sights and sounds of the season, and enjoy a fun and festive atmosphere on the water. Costumes are encouraged, so grab your paddles and your best Halloween gear for a frightfully fun evening!
Krewe of Janus Boo at the Krewe

Trick-or-Treat with the Krewe of Janus! Kids can trick-or-treat and enjoy KOJ’s lighted floats at their den. This is a family friendly and fun way to celebrate Halloween for all ages, with plenty of time to enjoy traditional trick-or-treating after!
