Abby Tingle and Addison White Earn Travel Marketing Professional Certification

Monroe-West Monroe, LA – The Southeast Tourism Society (STS) celebrated the graduation of Abby Tingle, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Social Media & Website Manager, and Addison White, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Multimedia Content Developer, at the STS Connections Conference in Jackson, MS.

Tingle and White both earned their Travel Marketing Professional (TMP) Certification at STS Marketing College. STS Marketing College is a three-year program that teaches marketing techniques from all facets of the tourism industry. Marketing College is a week-long program held yearly at Mercer University in Macon, GA.

“It’s been a great three years strengthening my skills as a tourism professional and developing a strong network of industry professionals. I am excited to put into action all that I have learned to help the Ouachita Parish tourism industry continue to grow,” said Abby Tingle, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Social Media & Website Manager.

STS, founded in 1983 and headquartered in Roswell, Ga., is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting travel and tourism within 12 states – Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
