Discover Monroe-West Monroe to Accept Submissions of Love Letters to the Twin Cities

MONROE-WEST MONROE, La. – Discover Monroe-West Monroe (DMWM) is encouraging the Ouachita Parish community to spread the love during this Valentine’s Day season.

The tourism bureau is accepting submissions of Love Letters to MWM starting Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026. The love letter to Monroe-West Monroe is a chance for the community to tell us what they love about Twin Cities. The letter can be about a favorite sweet treat from a local bakery, an attraction, a favorite activity to do with your group of friends or the way Ouachita Parish shines during the holidays.

The love letter can be short (100-200 words) and written in your own style and tone: heartfelt, funny, nostalgic, poetic or in the form of a list. Bonus points will be given if it highlights a local business, park, festival, or a special moment.

Three (3) ways to deliver letter:

Fill out the online form.
Download the printable sheet to write letter by hand and drop it off at 601 Constitution Drive, West Monroe 71292.
Blank sheets will be available in the lobby of DMWM for anyone who chooses to stop by.

DMWM will select five (5) winners to receive a prize in return.

The deadline to submit Love Letters to MWM is Feb. 12, 2026. Winners will be announced Valentine’s Day 2026.
