Discover Monroe-West Monroe to Host Golden Heron Awards

MONROE-WEST MONROE, La.- Discover Monroe-West Monroe (DMWM) is celebrating 50 years of promoting tourism in Ouachita Parish by hosting the Golden Heron Awards on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at The Hotel Monroe’s Opera House Ballroom.

Attendees are encouraged to pull out their best cocktail hour attire and help honor those who make the Twin Cities thrive.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Event begins at 7 p.m.
