DMWM Promotes Anthony Palmer and Francy Beth Corley to Full-Time Roles

MONROE-WEST MONROE, La. ― Interns with Discover Monroe-West Monroe (DMWM)’s Marketing & Communications department moved up the trails as of June 9, 2025.

Graphic Design Assistant Anthony Palmer and Communications Assistant Francy Beth Corley have been working in the department since Oct. 2024, and both have begun their full-time positions after recently graduating from their universities in north Louisiana.

Anthony Palmer is remaining in DMWM’s Marketing & Communications department as the new Visual Media Designer, while Francy Beth Corley moves next door to be a part of the Convention Sales team, serving as the new Sales and Event Developer.

Before Corley joined DMWM as an intern, she worked at Cross Keys Bank in Rayville. She recently graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a B.A. in Communications, concentrating in Integrated Media. She plans to pursue her Master of Arts in Strategic Communication in Fall 2025. She enjoys reading, painting, watching, and attending sporting events, and traveling.

“I'm excited to continue my journey here, and I'm looking forward to meeting new people, making connections, and bringing events to our area,” exclaimed Corley.

Palmer is a Baton Rouge native and a recent Graphic Design graduate of Louisiana Tech University. As a bulldog, he became proficient in Adobe Suites and Procreate, with an interest in photo collage, sports graphics, digital painting, and brand identity. His time at LA Tech allowed him to gain a strong passion for visual storytelling, branding, and digital creativity.

“Being an intern here at Discover Monroe-West Monroe, getting to know Ouachita Parish; while also promoting it and building connections has been a great endeavor and I am excited to continue doing so while growing in my creative space,” Palmer expressed.
