IJBBA to Host the 2025 National Junior Brangus Show in West Monroe

WEST MONROE, La. – The International Junior Brangus Breeders Association is preparing to host the 2025 National Junior Brangus Show, which will begin on Sunday, June 29, and conclude on Saturday, July 5, at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center in West Monroe.
This national youth show will attract approximately 400 competitors from across the nation to participate in various contests, including sales talk, a poster contest, a job interview contest, a speech contest, and a queen's pageant.
The IJBBA National Junior Brangus Show is one of the largest gatherings of Brangus breeders in the country, taking place over seven days and featuring the best and brightest young ranchers. It is expected to have a direct economic impact of $405,533.30 on Ouachita Parish, including the use of 775 hotel rooms, as well as increased visits to local convenience stores, shops, and restaurants.
This event is a prime example of how tourism can positively affect our community by bringing customers directly to local businesses.
