Louisiana Life Magazine Opens Contest for Best Town in Louisiana

Vote for Your Favorite Town in Ouachita Parish by July 31

OUACHITA PARISH, La. – Louisiana Life Magazine is holding its Louisiana Life Best Town Contest for the second year in a row.

The contest has expanded to include communities across 59 parishes, including Bawcomville, Sterlington, Swartz, and Richwood.

Now through Friday, July 31, 2026, readers can vote for their favorite town in Ouachita Parish.
The winning town will be featured in a written piece in the September/October issue of Louisiana Life Magazine.
