Twin City BMX to Host Louisiana State Games
MONROE, La. – The Twin City BMX is hosting its Louisiana State Games on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025.
Races are happening at 401 Lea Joyner Memorial Expressway, Monroe, Louisiana. Signups are from 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. and the race starts as soon as possible.
Twin City BMX is located behind the Monroe Civic Center. On their regular schedule, they typically host races on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday, which can be found on their Facebook page.
“The Louisiana State Games BMX is a key component of the annual amateur sports offered during the state games. The Louisiana State Games are affiliated with the National Congress of State Games. Athletes who earn medals at the state competition have the opportunity to compete next July at the State Games of America, held in State College, PA,” said Discover Monroe-West Monroe’s Executive Vice President Scott Bruscato.
The organization hosts its State Qualifier and Gold Cup Qualifier Race usually in February, where hundreds of people come from all over the nation to race and compete.
"BMX is a family-oriented sport where no one sits the bench. We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend for the Louisiana State Games race and we always have a good time. Huge thank you to Monroe and West Monroe leaders for allowing us to keep the growing sport of BMX thriving,” said Twin City BMX’s Track Operator Natalie Harper.
The cost is $15.00 for awards and free to spectators.
These races produce an economic impact of $86,918.02 for Ouachita Parish.
