Two Youth Sports Events to Take Over Monroe-West Monroe This Weekend

MONROE-WEST MONROE, La. ─ Two separate youth sports events are happening on the field and inside the sports facility beginning June 12, 2025.

The Louisiana High School Basketball Coaches Association (LHSBCA) is bringing its Girls – Scholastic Event to the West Monroe Sports and Events Facility June 12 – June 14, 2025. 2D Sports is hosting its I-20 All Turf Championship at the ULM’s Lou St. Amant Field from June 12 – June 15, 2025.

The Girls – Scholastic Event will be the only NCAA-certified event in Louisiana for the month of June, which NCAA Division I college coaches will be able to attend. This is the first summer for the first time in NCAAW history that will allow high school teams to participate in an NCAA-certified event.
Day passes for the event start at $15 daily.

The I-20 All Turf Championship includes two divisions: Underclass and Upperclass. This tournament features the All-Tournament Team recognition using statistics, video media coverage at select field to highlight the top players and moments.

This tournament will have a cashless gate, meaning no cash will be accepted at the entry point. The admission fee includes a daily entry for $12 general admission, $7 senior/military, and children 10 and under for FREE.

Both events are expected to bring in a combined economic impact estimation of $458,351.75 to Ouachita Parish.
