ULM Celebrity Softball Tournament October 14th

Monroe, LA – A star-studded game takes place this weekend! The University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) Celebrities vs. Warhawks Slow Pitch Softball game will be held this Saturday at the ULM Softball Field at 6:30 pm. This game features a variety of athletes, including professional players, former college all-stars, and some of softball’s top personalities.

Cheer on your favorite celebrities and Warhawks during a full seven inning game with mid-happenings and scheduled extra events.

ESPN broadcaster and former Texas A&M two-way star Amanda Scarborough is tabbed as coach of the team of visiting stars, while former Alabama All-American Haylie McCleney and ex-LSU speedster and defensive star Aliyah Andrews headline the roster of talent.

McCleney, as well as pitcher Sydney Littlejohn-Watkins, played with Fichtner at Alabama and have enjoyed lengthy careers as professional players.

Andrews returns to the state where she first became a star thanks to her prowess and penchant for defensive gems in the outfield.

Odicci Alexander, who became a household name in softball after leading James Madison to a magical run to the Women’s College World Series in 2021, is also part of Team Celebrity. Former Oklahoma and Texas A&M slugger Haley Lee; Louisiana-Lafayette Hall of Famer Lexie Elkins; former professional players Ashley Burkhardt, Angie Quiocho, and Renada Davis; and Louisiana-Monroe Hall of Famer Lori Bruscato round out the list of visiting stars.

In addition to the mini-Crimson Tide reunion, the celebrity game will also reunite several former members of the Dallas Charge professional team – Fichtner, Quiocho, Burkhardt, and Davis all played for the short-lived franchise in the National Pro Fastpitch league in the mid-2010s.

Tickets will be on sale at the gate for General Admission and General Admission/Post Game Autographs.
