Celtic Festival

The Northeast Celtic Festival is back at Lazarre Park! The fest will feature artisans and craft vendors, live music, a kid’s zone, and more! Food trucks will be selling Celtic themed items for all to enjoy. Don’t miss the Highland Games and watch athletes compete in the centuries’ old tradition, or sign up to compete yourself! Transport to Scotland right in Lazarre Park for an unforgettable start to October.


Biedenharn Garden Cinema

Tails at Twilight

Join River Cities Humane Society for Cats for their annual Tails at Twilight. It will be an evening filled with auctions, live music, delicious food, and community spirit. This year, your ticket does more than secure a magical night out. It will help fund River Cities new Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, a critical initiative to reduce cat overpopulation, improve community health, and save more feline lives across Northeast Louisiana. “Laissez les bon chat miaou”!

Strauss Youth Academy for the Arts presents a refreshing, contemporary telling of the classic story Anne of Green Gables. Stern Marilla and her warm-hearted brother Matthew hoped to adopt a boy to help work on their farm. Instead, the orphanage sends young, befreckled Anne by mistake and their lives will never be the same. Follow Anne through her rebellious years, her transformation into a young woman in this heart-warming, family friendly production.
