Tourism Event & Marketing Grant Applications Open to 501(c) Organizations

Organizations must submit applications by January 30

MONROE-WEST MONROE, La. ― Discover Monroe-West Monroe announces the opening of the Tourism Event & Marketing Grant application.

The grant is available to existing Ouachita Parish based 501(c) organizations marketing their event to attract out-of-town visitors to the parish, expand the visitor experience and grow the local travel economy.

The Tourism Event & Marketing Grant was established to enhance economic impact of tourism in the Ouachita Parish community. It’s a reimbursement grant and not created to cover the entire cost of an event.

Funds from the grant will assist any approved 501 (c) organization or non-profit with new events or marketing for increased overnight stays in Ouachita Parish. Priority will be given to establish new, creative projects and events creating a minimum of 50 room nights.

All qualified 501(c) organizations or non-profits must submit their completed application by January 30, 2026.
